6th - 9th July: Punks Not Dead

A collection of portraits celebrating the pioneers of punk 40 years on!

With 2016 seeing the 40th anniversary of punk rock, published music photographer Simon Balaam set out to document the artists who are still entertaining crowds after all (or most) of those 40 years. "I wanted to document punk now. I wanted to shoot the people who have entertained us for so long and have stood the test of time. I wanted to show that what started 40 years ago is still very much alive and well. I wanted to create a record of a specific time." The exhibition is open for private viewing on Thursday 6th July 6pm to 11pm. To be included on the guest list for the preview night please send us an email.

So please come and join us at the gallery in the first week of July. It's free entry and there will be many live bands playing on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, to still be announced. Enjoy the exhibition, have a drink, buy a print or just enjoy the music and art.

The exhibition will be open to the public with FREE entry for all: Friday 7th July: 11am - 11pm Saturday 8th July: 11am - 11pm Sunday 9th July: 11am - 5pm

".......punk is an attitude you can never outgrow, whilst youth is a state of mind unaffected by the passing of time." Matt Stocks
