About the artist:

Tommy Gurr is a visual artist from Whitstable, Kent. After attending Kent Institute of Art and Design (KIAD) and The University for Creative Arts (UCA) he combined his art with his second great love, travelling, which has taken him across the globe, from Africa to OZ. His stencil murals can be found in Camden and as far as the streets of Siem Reap, Cambodia, where he has featured as an artist in residence for the past two years.

Returning to the UK this year, once again Tommy was invited to feature at the Henley Festival where alongside exhibiting he performed a live 3-day paint to festival goers. His experimentation with unconventional media and 'play on words' looks set to continue through his new collection for 2017.
