Phurpa: Russian musical collective and performance group, recording and playing authentic ritual music of Bon, the oldest Buddhist tradition from Tibet, using ritual instruments and special tantric singing technique. BlackMoon1348

is joined by three Buddhist monks from Tashi Lhunpo Monastery (South India/Tibet) to create a huge cinematic spectacle, combining the spiritual insight of Tibetan chants and mantras, the sound of the dungchen (Tibetan Longhorn) gyaling (Tibetan Oboe) and percussive ritual instruments with BlackMoon1348's sub-harmonic drone and throat singing. I-Tal: (Pressure Studios, Matanuki) Heavyweight live dub from I-Tal of Pressure Studios, an analogue hardware studio set up by Matanuki’s bassist, Jamie Croyden, to make his own style of deep seismic dub with inspiration from the 70’s old school sounds of King Tubby and Lee Scratch Perry using hand-made analogue effects, live bass, and experimental electronica.
