The Bermondsey Joyriders present Punk Rock and Roll Art Show

Exclusive and never seen before original artwork from various punk rock and roll musicians for a show at Underdog Art Gallery, Bermondsey, launches 19th September 2014.

The Bermondsey Joyriders are pleased to announce the launch of their punk rock and roll art show at Underdog Art Gallery, Arch 6, Crucifix Lane, Bermondsey, SE1 3JW from 19-26th September 2014.

The exhibition has over twenty musicians from the punk rock and roll persuasion showcasing their original art much of which is exclusive and never seen before and will be also be available to purchase.

This show promises to be a must see event for both music and art fans. The range of punk rock n roll artists displaying original art works so far confirmed include; Gaye Advert – Adverts, Paul Slack – UK Subs, JC Carroll – Members, Knox- Vibrators, Spizz from Spizz Energy, Luke Morgan – The Highliners, Gerry Laffy – Girl, John Taylor, Ultravox, Bruno Wizard – Homosexuals, Taurus Trakker, Charles Chaos – The Jerks, Michelle Brigandage ‘Brigandage’ - Sue Tilly – ‘The Curse’, Joni Belaruski – ‘The Great Malarkey’, Chris Sullivan – ‘ Blue Rondo A La Turk’, Bermondsey Joyrider members and Danny Garcia film producer – ‘The Rise & Fall of The Clash’ and ‘Looking for Johnny – the legend of John Thunders’.

The exhibition will be held at the Underdog Gallery in SE1 from 19-26th September with a special opening party on the evening of Friday 19th September from 7-11pm with live performances from Bermondsey Joyriders and special guests.

Bermondsey Joyriders remarked, “We are always seeking ways to extend our artistic boundaries. The idea behind curating this show is to offer a platform to a range of musicians to continue their creative output through a different medium”.

Underdog Art Gallery has already established itself as a significant art space, hosting contemporary art, design shows, urban street art, sculpture, outsider art and creating intriguing events.

Sam from Underdog Art Gallery comments, “ We are very excited to have this exhibition at the gallery. The sheer variety of art work from a selection of rock and roll royalty is a great honour to host.” There will also be a range of prints and posters on sale specially for the show.
