liam motyer

Liam is a predominantly figurative and representational wood sculptor and artisan, having shown in a number of exhibitions across London; his inspirations are drawn from nature, anatomy, life and human biology; juxtaposed with geometry, order and shape in space.
 

His woodwork experience is diverse and alongside wood carving includes fashion, furniture making and film set building.

His former fashion label Eye of the World Designs has shown in various publications including Vogue, Grazia, Elle, Fiasco, Fraulein and Viewpoint art magazine; and has been stocked in Browns Focus on Bond Street. 

Furniture making projects, notably include, special carving commission work for Hendzel and Hunt; the result of which appeared in Selfridges, at The London Design Festival and at The Shop at Bluebird on the King’s Road. He has created bespoke pieces for bands such as The Kooks and Goodbye Leopold as well as promotional pieces for designers such as Converse.
