7th - 10th Oct: Punk Rock & Roll Art Show

The Bermondsey Joyriders are pleased to announce the launch of this year’s punk rock and roll art show with opening exhibition and party on the evening of Friday 7th October 7.00pm until 1am at Underdog Art Gallery, Arch 6, Crucifix Lane, London Bridge, SE1 3JW

Sex Pistol - Glen Matlock, Keith Levene -The Clash/ Public Image join the roll call of artists for this years- Punk Rock And Roll Art Show 2016.

With the anniversary of 40 years of Punk – more musicians from punk rock and roll persuasion are exhibiting their original art works, including for the first time, Glen Matlock – Sex Pistols and Keith Levene-The Clash, Public Image Ltd.

This free exhibition opens on Friday 7th October 7pm- 1am and then continues to run daily Saturday 8th – Monday 10th October from 11-7pm.

Gordon McHag 111 – Subway Gallery, Gary Loveridge - punk rock historian, Sarah Pink, Mick Negative, Jane Palm Gold – punk collective amongst others.

The opening party is always a riotous affair with majority of artists in attendance and performances from the Bermondsey Joyriders, an array of surprise guests including Jeffrey Munday on the decks between all the mayhem.

Bermondsey Joyriders remarked, “This gathering brings together both music and art aficionados and gives fans a chance to purchase a slice of art from their favorite artists and it is becoming an important date in the calendar".

Sammy Forway, owner of the Underdog Art Gallery comments,“Every year, I am impressed with the quality and diversity of the artwork on display and with the 40th anniversary of Punk, I am looking forward to some truly affordable and collectable works”.
